The Victoria is a becon of boho bliss in the heart of the city centre. Amongst the funky and quirky decor, the great cocktails, real ales and wines, you’ll see and smell our Deep South Diner fare…

Think burgers with a twist (True Blood – beef patty, jalapenos and smoky chipotle sauce anyone?), think quick and filling stuffed ciabatta’s, slow cooked Gumbo’s and the best brownies in town. The Victoria also houses our Soul Food Soundsystem residents on the 1st / 3rd / 5th Friday of the month where you’ll catch us spinning Deep South delights such as rockabilly, swing, jump blues, soul, funk and beyond.

Other locations used for tasting evenings:

The Hare and Hounds, King’s Heath
Based in the bohemian suburb of Kings Heath, a cultural playground for musicians, artists & independent businesses, the Hare & Hounds is the hub of said community.

The venue hosts two live music rooms and offers week long entertainment from comedy evenings, quiz nights, jazz nights and also some of the most cutting edge and exciting bands on the live circuit, both nationally and internationally at the moment. Check out full listings.

The Old Crown, Digbeth
We discovered one of the most beautiful buildings in Birmingham (and beyond), as well as the oldest pub in the city…..The Old Crown, Digbeth.

Still independently run, The Old Crown oozes old world charm, character and ‘excuse the pun’ soul. It’s reportedly haunted, has apparently been frequented by Dick Turpin and was one of the last Republican buildings to hold out during the English Civil War… Check out full listings.
